The name of the association is Suomi - Nigeria Ystävyysseura ry.
For
international contact purposes, Finnish – Nigerian Friendship Association
(English translation) can be used.
This association was founded in 1991 and is domiciled in Helsinki, Finland.
LANGUAGE
The official working language of the association is Finnish/Swedish and English
AIMS AND OBJECTIVES
The aim of the association is to facilitate contacts and to promote cultural
interaction and understanding between Finns and Nigerians.
The association intends to co-operate with a corresponding association in
Nigeria.
To meet its aims and objectives, this association shall organize cultural
happenings, meetings, lectures, seminars, discussions, information exchange and
excursions.
It shall also give useful and practical advice or information to Finns and
Nigerians in their interactions.
The association shall be an independent, non political, non-religious and
non-profit seeking organization.
In seeking to support its activities, the association may solicit, receive
donations and legacies, and organize lottery sales, different types of social
occasions with gate fee but must obtain necessary permissions |
